There are so many opportunity online for you to jump on, do you ever ask yourself this question? What is this thing they are talking about Internet Business?
Well Internet business is the electronic kind of buying and selling of product and services popularly called e-commerce.
Internet & Computer: - In Nigeria today, people see the Internet as an avenue to perpetrate the so called Yahoo yahoo, well it’s all about perspective it depend on what you want to do online. We all know that the Internet is a network of computers connected around the world, if you go round town, in homes, offices and schools you will find out that computers are littered every where and about 75% of them are connected to the Internet.

With the internet these computers can see each other; I am using this medium to give you the right information on why you should start a business online, if these computers can see each other? Then information can be sent across to the people using the computers, I know you will want to ask me what kind of information can I passed on to these people online the Internet? Product and services can be sold to these people using the connected computers.
Product and services: - Now to understand this phenomenal, you need to change your mindset about the Internet and see it as an avenue for you to be informed. Before I go on let me ask you some question;
Are you self employed?
Do you work?
Do you buy and sell goods?
Do you have a talent?
Do you have a hobby?
No mater what you do, you have a product and you also can provide services online. How do I put my product and service online?
3. Packaging: - You have to package your product and services to make it presentable online, how do you do the packaging? First the product can be package in form of e-books, audio & video, mp3 and physical manual. For services; you can write articles, post and update blog, web designing and hosting, both the product and the services can now be put on a blog, website and can also be marketed through e-mails
If you don’t know how to go about the packaging get an expert, that is someone who is already in the business to put you through, or just do something do not wait till you get a perfect production because you will never get one, start with what ever you have and then make adjustment along the way. The Internet is very interesting; you can ask questions on search engines such as Google, MSN or Yahoo search.

4. How the Internet can enhance my business: - If you can go back to my first paragraph, where I talk about the Internet been a connections of computers, you will find out that very soon every home, offices and schools will be linked up to the net so if your business can be online as soon as possible, you already have a market, not only in Nigeria but all around the world. Now at this junction you will need a professional touch.

In this New Year 2009, there is going to be a lot of seminars that is going to be talking about INTERNET BUSINESS and they will charge some high fee, please do not attend any of them. Why? Because they are all fake, remember what happen with ONLINE TRADING FOREX in 2007 and 2008.

I will advice you to attend the seminars organized by entrepreneurs who have veritable proof of having made money online, I hope you understand what I mean by this, get training from someone who has actually make money from doing business online, not those who make money by training people on how to make money online.

5. The word “FREE” on the Internet: - Some Nigerians see the Internet as a money making avenue where there is no stress at all, well have got news for you.

You have to put as much effort as possible to be able to make money online (updating, advertising, package and repackaging, send mails, looking out for competitors etc) there are so many free packages, product and services on the net, tell you what; you are paying for them, ask me how?

The free packages are there just to attract you attention and create awareness. While the free product and services are there for your attention, your attention alone is a form of payment. A test run will be made and if you are satisfy with the free test, you will now go for the paid one, it is a very good initiative that is used online but my fellow Nigerians will stick on it, NO get a paid package and move on to the next level.

6. Get the natty gritty of making money online: - Some Nigerians are too ignorance to learn, especially making findings about latest innovations, read books go out and see things for them self, to be an online entrepreneur you will need to have the technical know how, skills that will help you find your way around the net, like I said earlier look out for people who are already in the business and are you can see that they are really making money out of it. some of us Nigerians find it difficult to start some thing new, ether because of the fear of failure or what people will say,
If you had to pay to get it done please pay, I find out that some Nigerians like to be spoon fed, why don’t you want to pay for something that will benefit you?

7. pacifier: - Finally ether you are employed or unemployed the internet is there for every one desirous of using it, to explore and make extra income but you got to be ready to work both online and off line, read books and e-books, you will need to register online with some websites they will be sending news letters to you e-mail box
